China’s Hisense DTV’s to Come Equipped With DivX Plus HD

Yesterday, an official announcement was made by Hisense, one of China’s leading LCD manufacturers about one of their latest TV’s. They said their new TV’s will support DivX Plus HD which will allow viewers to watch up to 1080p HD quality videos and movies in DivX format using an MKV file container via the TV’s USB slot. This is being said to be the first DTV OEM in China to offer the DivX Plus HD feature so there is definitely good reason to be excited here.
